Q. What area do you cover?
A. We generally cover Bristol and the surrounding areas, if you live within the BS Post Code area we will be happy to visit you for a free no obligation quote.
Q. What if I don't live in Bristol?
A. If you live outside of Bristol that's no problem, get in touch and we'll be happy to help.
Q. How long will I have to wait before you can start my job?
A. That depends on what the job is. We will always try to get out to you the same day and if possible within the hour for an emergency. If it is a big job like a central heating system, bathroom or kitchen refit we will always try to start it within 14 days of the booking.
Q. How do I know I can trust you?
A. You are more than welcome to contact any of our previous customers. We pride ourselves on our honesty and trustworthiness.
Q. Do I need to pay a deposit?
A. Again this depends. We only ask for a deposit to cover materials where the cost runs into hundreds or thousands or pounds.
Q. Can I call you 24 hours a day in case of an emergency?
A. Yes
Q. Do you charge a call out fee?
A. Only after 9pm till 6am. Otherwise we don't charge a call out fee.
Q. How much do you charge for general work?
A. It could be as little as £25.00 for a leaking tap. For medium sized to larger jobs we will look at the job for you and give you a free estimate of what it will cost. We don't do any work without prior agreement. Ask us to provide a FREE no obligation quote and we’ll be able to give you a competitive price if not on the spot, then shortly after.
Q. Do you do carry out insurance work?
A. Yes
Q. Can you fit specialist equipment for the elderly or disabled?
A. Yes, this is one of the specialist areas of our work. We fit DocM packs.
Q. I am a landlord, could I set up a maintenance contract with you?
A. Yes, just let us know what you need and we will tailor a package to suit your needs and requirements whether they are small or large.
Q. Can you deal with lead and lead replacement?
A. Yes, we do deal with lead. We have carried out replacements of lead and arranged with local Water authorities to have new water meters fitted at customers' properties.
Q. I’ve already bought a bathroom suite can you fit it for me?
A. Yes, providing what you have bought is suitable we are happy to install your own bathroom suite, cloakroom set or fitted kitchen.
Q. Can you fit an outside tap?
A. In most cases, yes! we can supply the tap or plumb in your own tap kit if you’ve already bought one.
Q. Can you move a radiator?
A. We can add, remove, move and replace radiators within your existing heating system.
Q. Do I need to call a decorator?
A. We are able to tile, lay flooring and paint and decorate to offer a complete service. A bathroom or kitchen installation can be undertaken entirely by us for your convenience.
